On February 26, the court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced Milorad Dodik to a year in prison on the case of disobedience to the decisions of the high representative of the international community in BiH Christian Schmidt. Commenting on the verdict of the Bosnian court, Dodik stressed that Republika Srpska does not recognize this decision, and promised to ban the work of courts, security forces, special services and prosecutors of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the territory of the republic. The Kremlin commented on the verdict of Dodik.
