According to the lawyer, there is no court of appeal in Bosnia and Herzegovina, so the defense intends to appeal immediately to the Constitutional Court. “The second step will be the Constitutional Court. After that, we will have the opportunity to refer the appeal to the International Court of Justice in Strasbourg (European Court of Human Rights – approx. ed.), – said Petronievich. on February 26, the court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced Milorad Dodik to a year in prison. The decision was made, as the court said, in connection with Dodik’s insubordination to the decisions of the high representative of the international community in BiH, Christian Schmidt. In response, Dodik stressed that Republika Srpska does not recognize this decision. In addition, he promised to ban the work of courts, security forces, special services and prosecutors of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the territory of the republic.
