This week, residents of Volgograd said goodbye to a man with a big heart and a deep love for exact science. At the 83rd year of life, the People’s Teacher of Russia, Hero of Labor, teacher and mentor Yuri Vasilyevich Lepekhin died. The name of the Honorary Citizen of the region is written in golden letters in the history of the country. Thanks to special methods and selfless love for their work, graduates of Yuri Lepekhin invariably received the highest graduation marks, entered the best universities and are in demand all over the world today. To spend the last journey of Yuri Vasilyevich came hundreds of his students, friends, colleagues and associates. Many people came to Volgograd for this purpose.
