Investigative actions in the criminal case of a terrorist attack in the suburban Crocus City Hall were completed on the third of March, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin said earlier. Investigators completed their work in less than a year. “Of course, we would like this process to be public, so that even if there is no access to the courtrooms, there will be a broadcast. We have an amazing experience. Back when they were broadcasting on landmark cases, you remember there was an associate professor who killed a graduate student. And that's probably one of the first times, because there was a lot of public interest, you could go to the court's website and watch online what was going on. That's great, actually. Perhaps they will go for it, said the human rights activist. Also earlier, Merkacheva noted the speed of consideration of the criminal case. On March 22, 2024, a terrorist attack occurred in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, which killed 145 people, including six children. 27 people were brought to criminal responsibility, including four directly perpetrators.
