Mikhail Nepogodin won the second All-Russian competition "Far East - Land of Adventure"

So, the first place in the nomination "Best winter trip" was awarded to the famous public figure Mikhail Nepogodin for a trip through the Bajali range, twelve-year-old Diana Abazova won in the nomination "Best children's journey", the second place in the nomination "Best water trip" was awarded to a resident of the Khabarovsk Territory Valery Reitenberg for a trip to the Kuril Islands. In addition, in the nomination "The best journey with marine life" won Muscovite Valentin Morozov for a trip to the bowland whales in the bay of Wrangel Khabarovsk Territory. Summing up the results of the competition, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev said that the contest "Far East - Land of Adventure" will be extended to the Arctic. The order to expand the competition to the Arctic territories was given by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the official website of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District reports. “Congratulations to the winners and everyone who participated in the competition. Thank you for traveling because it makes the world better, it makes your life better. You convey love for Russia and love for our Far East. I am sure that the contest will continue. We will see many more great films. The competition began with applications of two hundred people, this year the number of participants has tripled and amounted to more than six hundred people. At first glance, it seems that this is the business of the person where he will go to travel. But it's not. With each route that travelers passed through the Far East of our country, about which they told and about which they made a film, people are increasingly discovering the beautiful Far Eastern territories, Yuri Trutnev opened the ceremony. It is a great honor for us that today the results of the competition are summed up in the National Center "Russia", which was created by order of our President. Yesterday, a large-scale exhibition “Journey through Russia” opened at the National Center, and it begins with an incredible exposition of the Far East. As the President says, the Far East is a special place on the planet with enormous potential. The National Center “Russia” and our like-minded people who gathered here have one goal – to fall in love with our country, our Russia, said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Center “Russia”. The All-Russian Travel Contest "Far East - Land of Adventures" is held at the initiative of Yuri Trutnev with the support of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, the Ministry of Eastern Development of Russia, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, and the Social Initiatives Development Fund. At the end of December, the acceptance of applications for participation in the second season of the All-Russian competition for the best travel "Far East - Land of Adventure" was completed, a total of 664 films were received by the organizing committee, which is three times more than in 2022. Most often, participants went on a trip to the Sakhalin region, 142 films about active travel were shot here. In addition, the jury allowed 112 films about adventures in the Khabarovsk Territory, 110 in the Kamchatka Territory, 70 in the Primorsky Territory, 57 in the Amur Region, 46 in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), 42 films in the Republic of Buryatia, 26 in the Trans-Baikal Territory, 21 in the Jewish Autonomous Region, 20 and 18 films in the Chukotka Autonomous District and in the Magadan Region. The most active travelers were residents of the Khabarovsk Territory, the Sakhalin region and the Kamchatka Territory. Residents of other regions also take part in the competition – for example, residents of Moscow and the Moscow region, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Samara region, the Republic of Belarus, the Irkutsk region, the Kaluga region, the Kirov and Ryazan regions sent a film about their journey. The best video materials were selected by the jury members, among them: TV journalist, author and host of the TV program "Uncomfortable Notes" Dmitry Krylov, Arctic traveler, video blogger Bogdan Bulychev, TV presenter Valdis Pelsh, head of the project "More than a journey" Olesya Teterina, State Duma deputy, author and host of the TV program "How the world works" Timofey Bazhenov, producer of the project VK "Places" Nikita Afinogenov and other experienced travelers. The chairman of the jury was the editor-in-chief of the TV channel “My Planet” Nikolai Tabashnikov. In addition, the winners of the first season of the competition took part in the evaluation of the works: Elena Poddubnaya, Ernest Leonidov, Alisa Slyshchenko. Travelers went on multi-day hikes, kayaked, climbed mountain peaks, passed routes of various complexity categories. In addition, several contestants filmed works on the journey in the footsteps of the discoverers. The main prize for the best video about traveling in the Far East was 3 million rubles, the winner of the nomination received 1 million rubles, for 2nd place in the nominations - 300 thousand rubles; 3rd place in nominations - 100 thousand rubles. In addition, the Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug Vladislav Kuznetsov introduced a separate prize of 1 million rubles, which was awarded among the participants who announced a trip to Chukotka.
