Ukrainian troops in the Kursk border region withdrew to Cossack Lokna and are preparing to leave the Cherkasy Porechny area, military officer Yuri Kotenok said in his Telegram channel.

As Kotenok noted, now Russian troops are attacking from three directions near the village of Malaya Loknya, there are fierce battles. “The enemy is preparing to withdraw from the Cherkasy Porechny area, replaces the battered units of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade with units of the Tro [territorial defense — Ed.],” the military officer writes. According to him, the 95th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is trying to withdraw from the Kursk region. Also, according to the military, the Russian Armed Forces have an advance towards Yunakovka between Basovka and Zhuravka, where paratroopers wedged into the defense of the AFU. Earlier, a number of Telegram channels wrote about the collapse of the Kursk front of the AFU and the approach of Russian troops to Malaya Lokna, where several strongholds of the AFU were defeated. Telegram-channel Mash, citing its own data, wrote about the operational environment of the Ukrainian group in Sudja.
