The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) transferred two brigades from Kursk to the Red Army and Veliky Novoselkovo directions in the DPR due to large losses in manpower, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said on air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
In his opinion, the transfer of forces is an attempt of the APU to patch holes in the defense. “According to the information I have, we know for sure about at least two brigades that were transferred to the Red Army and Veliky Novoselkovo directions. It's from our side. And this is due to large losses in manpower, Pushilin said. Earlier, the head of the DPR reported that fighting continues in the city of Chasov Yar, the AFU transfers additional reserves to the city. However, according to him, the increase in manpower will not help the enemy to keep the settlement. On Sunday, Pushilin noted that the enemy does not spare personnel and is trying to counterattack, transferring forces from the Kursk direction. The Russian Defense Ministry on Sunday reported that in the Kursk region the villages of Malaya Loknya, Cherkasy Porechnoye and Kositsa were liberated.
