The Yaroslavl region is celebrating its space anniversary today. March 4 marks 50 years since the founding of the Museum "Cosmos", dedicated to Valentina Tereshkova, located in the village of Nikulskoe Tutaev municipal district. Festive events will be held both in Nikulsk and in Yaroslavl. The museum will host a unique excursion dedicated to the world’s first female cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova and her husband, Andriyan Nikolaev – the third pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR, twice a hero of the Soviet Union. Already in Yaroslavl, in the concert hall of the Philharmonic, a festive concert will be held with the participation of creative teams of our region and the Republic of Chuvashia. It was called the Seagull and Falcon. The flight continues”.
