Thanks to “Musical Europe”, Russian radio listeners in the early 2000s had the opportunity to listen to rare recordings made by the record company “Velte Mignon” in 1905-1910: playing the piano of Claude Debussy and Vladimir Horowitz, Theodor Leshetitsky and Arthur Schnabel, Camille Saint-Saëns and Emil Sauer. The uniqueness of the musical material of the program lies in the fact that translational! This is a prerequisite for the European Broadcasting Union. Today, Musical Europe is a platform for the most daring musical ideas. Outstanding and young musicians of the folklore direction - Sergey Starostin, Stepanida Borisova, Arkady Shilkloper, Alexei Arkhipovsky, the quartet "Moscow Balalaika", "Nerekhecht hornmakers", etc., who debuted in the program, then represented Radio Russia at Euroradio folk festivals and at the recording competition "Grand Prix Svetozar Strachina". Both forums are held under the patronage of the European Broadcasting Union. In the program "Musical Europe" there are archival recordings in the cycle "Russian virtuosi", tells about all-Russian music competitions and festivals.
