At the wheel of the vehicle was a 59-year-old resident of the Saratov region, in the car which found two pistols and 34 rounds. As it turned out, the man was heading to the Leningrad region to kill the ex-wife living there. “Out of a sense of jealousy, a personal dislike for his ex-wife arose the intent to kill her,” the ministry said. The decision to attempt the life of his ex-wife arose from the man in December last year. To implement the plan, the future defendant in the investigation got pistols, ammunition, false beard and mustache. The man also obtained a shovel, handcuffs, chainsaw and fake license plates for the car. In fact, a criminal case has been opened, the investigation continues.
