A resident of Lipetsk will be convicted for hacking the profile of ex-wife in social networks

A resident of Lipetsk will be convicted of hacking the account of his ex-wife in social networks, collecting information about his private life and correspondence on her behalf. According to the regional prosecutor’s office, the 40-year-old man took advantage of the fact that the profile of the ex-wife was tied to his phone. On March 16, 2024, he entered her personal account, read and copied private messages. After the ex-husband began to correspond with a friend of Lipchanka to learn more about the personal life of the ex-wife. Soon she noticed messages that she did not send and suspected the former. The court transferred a criminal case under Articles 272, 138 and 137 of the Criminal Code on illegal access to computer information, violation of the secrecy of correspondence and illegal collection of information about the private life of a person without his consent.
