The PFO Championship in universal combat in the discipline of "means of defense" gathered over 400 athletes from 9 regions in Kazan. The Orenburg team consisted of 27 athletes representing 6 sports clubs from the region. In the end, the fighters brought home 19 medals.

Winners and medalists of the district stage are eligible to participate in the Russian championship.
