There is no danger of internal turmoil for Russia today, society is showing exemplary consolidation. This was stated by Patriarch Kirill during the congratulation on the Defender of the Fatherland Day after laying a wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Moscow Kremlin.
The Patriarch noted that any external forces will not be able to defeat Russia. βRussia was defeated only by internal turmoil. But as a result of the actions of our president and our authorities, there is no such danger for Russia today. Indeed, exemplary consolidation of the whole society, follows from the transcript of the Patriarchβs congratulations on the website of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Church prays for the soldiers of the Russian army during each service, while prayers for any other professions are not performed. βPrayer for soldiers is an important part of the prayers that the Church offers for all its people,β Patriarch Kirill said. Earlier, the Chairman of the state Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin said that February 23 unites all those who love Russia and associate their present and future with it.
