Gureyev called the Ukrainian attack an act of terrorism. “The strike that took place today is primarily timed to coincide with the negotiation process [in Jeddah]. The purpose of these mass raids is to show combat capability, to show certain trump cards on their hands, the political scientist said. On the night of March 11, Russian air defense systems repulsed a massive attack by Ukrainian drones on the territory of Russia. A total of 337 drones were shot down, of which 91 were over Moscow. The attack killed three people, another 18 were injured.
