Peskov: measures taken to protect Moscow and the Moscow region from UAVs

On the morning of March 11, Moscow and the Moscow region were attacked by drones. The mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin called it the most massive. The Russian Defense Ministry said that during the night of March 11, air defense systems destroyed 337 Ukrainian UAVs, 91 of which were shot down in the Moscow region. According to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, as a result of a large-scale attack by Ukrainian UAVs on the Moscow region, 18 people were injured and two died. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the initiation of a criminal case on the fact of Ukrainian attacks on Moscow and the region. “All preparatory measures and activities were carried out in advance. This makes it possible to protect Moscow, the Moscow region and many other regions, the Kremlin spokesman said. Earlier, he reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about the attack of Ukrainian drones on the Moscow region. The press Secretary of the head of state also noted that the air defense forces in repelling the attack worked normally.
