March 23 at 22:05 on the TV channel "Russia-Culture" premiere show of the concert of Dinara Aliyeva, dedicated to Maria Callas.
This performance took place in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory on December 1, 2024 – on the eve of the birthday of the legendary opera diva Maria Callas (1923-1977). Overtures and arias from her repertoire were performed by the Russian star of the opera scene, soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Dinara Aliyeva. The singer has repeatedly participated in events dedicated to the memory of world legend. At the dawn of her career, Dinara Aliyeva became a laureate of the Maria Kallas International Singer Competition (Greece, 2007), and the concert in BZK for her is not just an opera performance, but a tribute to her idol. Thanks to artistry and magnificent lyrical and dramatic soprano, Aliyeva managed to create a fascinating atmosphere of a musical holiday. From the stage of the Grand Hall of the Conservatory, masterpieces of Italian opera sounded - the part from the works of Norma by V. Bellini, Adriana Lecouvrer by F. Chilea, Troubadour and Power of Fate by J. Verdi, Rural Honor by P. Mascagni, Tosca, Madame Butterfly, Edgar and Gianni Skicchi by J. Puccini, Carmen by J. Bizet. The artist performed accompanied by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra named after E. F. Svetlanov. Conductor - Ivan Nikiforchin. Now the opportunity to plunge into the exciting world of Italian opera, to remember Maria Callas, to hear her opera hits performed by Dinara Aliyeva is available to viewers. "Russia-Culture"
