📝 Summary

The cat Musya, thrown by a man from a 40-meter cliff in the Crimea and found and rescued three days later by volunteers, spent the night in a veterinary clinic, the animal feels good. This was reported by a veterinarian monitoring her condition.

“The cat received the necessary therapy aimed at eliminating dehydration, relieving stress and the inflammatory process,” the woman said. The specialist said that Musya rested and slept in the carrier in which she was transported, because she feels safe there. The cat remains in the clinic, its fate is being discussed. On February 23, it was reported that one of the visitors to the Palace-castle “Swallow’s Nest” first petted the animal, then made sure that there was one, carried the cat to the observation deck and threw it into the sea. Later, the attacker was detained at the suburban station of Dzhankoy and placed in a hospital. He was a 24-year-old native of St. Petersburg. He explained his actions by the fact that the animal began to break out of his hands. The criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Cruelty to an animal for the purpose of causing pain or suffering”). The animal was rescued the day before. The cat was hiding in a crevice. To get it from there, the specialists needed climbing equipment.
