However, at the moment, Roskomnadzor has not received notification of the incident from the company. According to the law “On personal data”, the company-operator, which allowed the leak, must report it to Roskomnadzor within 24 hours and provide the results of an internal investigation indicating the cause and the perpetrators within 72 hours. Reports about the publication of data of almost 50 million users of the bonus program appeared on the network on March 9. The NLB hacker group was the first to report this, claiming to have gained access to Sber’s servers. It was noted that in addition to phone numbers, one of the merged files contains hashed (encrypted according to a certain algorithm, which can theoretically be hacked) bank card numbers.
