The press service of Rostec commented on the incident that occurred on Thursday, February 20, at the Stavropol airport.
According to the state corporation, the crew of the National Sanitary Aviation Service (NSSA) of Rostec managed to prevent the crash of the Ansat sanitary helicopter. “The helicopter was damaged, but serious consequences were avoided,” the report said. It is specified that during the flight there was a technical problem and the aircraft became almost unmanageable, but the pilots coped, showing courage and professionalism. According to Rostec, currently "Ansats" make up about half of the park NSSA. Since 2018, they have been working in 54 regions of Russia. Recall that on board the emergency helicopter were four people – pilots and a medical team, no injuries.
