Russian servicemen struck the Iskander operational-tactical missile system at the disguised position of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The blow was inflicted in the village of Novonikolaevka. This is 26 kilometers east of the settlement Nikolaev. "A missile strike by the Iskander operational-tactical missile system on the disguised position of the HIMARS MLRS in the village of Novonikolaevka," the report said. As a result of the strike, the HIMARS transport-loading vehicle with ammunition and up to 10 Ukrainian militants was destroyed. In July 2024, the Iskander calculation struck a blow at the AFU hangar, in which HIMARS MLRS were stored in Novopetrovka, Mykolaiv region. As a result of the strike, military equipment and personnel were eliminated.
