The Prize of the Russian Society "Knowledge" was presented in Moscow. It is awarded for achievements in education and in the popularization of science. The best educational book is the historical album of Yegor Yakovlev “Nazi genocide of the peoples of the USSR: unknown pages”. And although it is difficult, but, nevertheless, it is necessary to show what the Nazis managed to do, says historian, author of the album Yegor Yakovlev. The head of the National Center "Russia" Natalia Virtuozova rose to the stage as the General Director of the International Exhibition-Forum "Russia" at VDNKh, which collected the achievements of all regions of the country, and which has an award "for general contribution to education" in the category "educational project of the year". “We were just lucky to become a platform for a huge number of projects that tell, educate about the country, about our country, about our amazing people, so, of course, this is a great honor,” said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Center “Russia”. Museum and temple complex "New Chersonese" was named the best in the category "For contribution to education in the field of "History". The project combines science, culture and religion. For the fourth consecutive season, the award sets records for the number of applicants. This year there are more than a thousand applications compared to the past. “This scale, which the award has acquired both inside and outside the country, is delighting and arouses pride, because 56 countries are the first time such a scale, well, we joke that these are all continents except Australia and Antarctica – and we will also reach them, there are a little left,” says Maxim Dreval, Director General of the Russian Society “Knowledge”. Applications were from all regions of Russia. At this award and the record for the number of nominations. Now it's 21 categories instead of 19. In total, the names of 31 laureates were named - the best according to the decision of the Honorary Jury and the results of the popular vote.
