The author of “Stories about the war” – Semyon Lvovich Aria at the beginning of the Great Patriotic War was drafted into the Red Army. After graduating from the courses of the 19th Tank Training Regiment in Nizhny Tagil, he became a mechanic-driver of a tank, then a scout of the Guards mortar division (Katyush). Participated in hostilities in the North Caucasus, Kuban, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria with the rank of senior sergeant. He was wounded twice. He was awarded orders and medals, including for his professional activities as a lawyer. The Law Institute graduated in 1947. Since 1948, he has defended those who need his help for 64 years. He has a mission to protect. At the same time – no pathos, no heroism
