According to the press service of the regional GU MIA of Russia, on the night of March 8, a 27-year-old man robbed a 20-year-old young man. According to law enforcement officers, a quarrel broke out between visitors to the cafe. The senior of the participants of the confrontation put a ballpoint pen to the throat of the opponent and demanded to transfer two thousand rubles to himself through a banking application. “Less than 10 minutes later, the suspect in this crime was detained by police near 17 Valor Street and taken to the police department for investigation,” the statement said. As a result, the man became a defendant in a criminal case initiated under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on robbery. It is noted that he was previously convicted of robbery, but escaped with a suspended sentence.
