The architectural monument needs repair
One of the highest in Russia. The 48-meter firefighter in Rybinsk will celebrate its 113rd birthday this year. Unique is not only the height, but also the design of the structure. It was the first in the country to use reinforced concrete frame. The building is included in the register of architectural monuments of federal significance. The last restoration of the fire tower took place in 2007. Almost 20 years have passed since then, and residents of Rybinsk appealed to the regional government with a request to repair the building. The regional service for the protection of monuments reported that design and estimate documentation is necessary for the work. Funds for its development are planned to be requested in the relevant ministry. - In order to finance the formation of project documentation for the preservation of the monument of history and culture "Fire Kalancha" an application was sent to the program of the Ministry of Culture "Culture Development" for 2025, the Service for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Yaroslavl Region told.
