A documentary project is, first of all, a frank and reasoned “look” from a variety of “sides” at any one event or phenomenon of our life. Whether it is history, current or old, frontline, simply military or everyday, associated, say, with the Romanov dynasty, the family of the Decembrists Muravyovs or the Moscow merchant Nikolai Grigoriev from the Kadashev Palace Sloboda in Moscow, the families of Russian immigrants from France, Finland or Italy to Turkey, Tunisia or Australia. Finally, the "white" and "red" terror during the Civil War, which, apparently, will soon be marked by the time of the "Great Russian Revolution". These are “history stories,” sometimes not limited to a particular day or year, country or continent. But first of all, it is a dispassionate and not at all one-sided story on the air about any fact through documents, letters, archival films or, finally, why not, emotional stories of participants in certain events, even ancient times and sometimes with directly opposite views on the past or on our current life. The author of the cycle, also designated as “RADIOFILM”, is a journalist and photo reporter Leonid Varebrus, a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism of St. Petersburg University and the St. Petersburg Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin. He worked at the radio station "Youth", in the information program "Vesti" and in the Studio "Mirror" Nikolai Svanidze
