📝 Summary

The Moscow district court of St. Petersburg issued a decision on the detention of Artemy Novikov, who is accused under the article of the criminal code of the Russian Federation on hooliganism.

During the preliminary investigation, it was established that on March 2, Novikov staged a row on board the aircraft flying on the Novosibirsk-St. Petersburg flight. He walked around the cabin, insulted passengers and crew members, did not respond to comments. Arriving at the cockpit, the man tried to get inside. When the flight attendants and other passengers tried to calm down the brawler and escort him to his place, he began to push people away and strike. Novikov, a native of the Altai Territory, asked not to isolate him from society, but the court refused him. The hooligan will spend 1 month and 27 days in the pre-trial detention center – the measure of restraint was chosen until May 3, according to the Telegram channel of the joint press service of St. Petersburg courts.
