The attackers fled to Petrozavodsk, but they managed to detain law enforcement officers. This was reported by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk in his Telegram channel. “The police quickly established the identity of the deceased and came out on the trail of suspects,” the statement said. According to preliminary data, on February 26, in a rented apartment in the city of Murino, Leningrad region, a married couple killed their friend. On March 1, his remains were accidentally discovered by a resident of St. Petersburg, who walruses and bathes in the river in the morning. In the near future, the defendants will be brought to St. Petersburg from the Republic of Karelia for transfer to the investigative authorities and further investigation of the criminal case.
