He provided false information to the authorities about the arrival and residence of foreigners in his apartment, for which he received monetary compensation. In fact, none of the individuals listed lived with him. In May 2024, Kurbonov was driving a bus that crashed through the barrier on Potseluev Bridge and plunged into the river. Seven passengers died as a result, while one managed to survive. In October, he was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment and prohibited from driving for 2.5 years. The man fully admitted his guilt.
