According to the regional office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the suspects in the criminal case are the head of the Rymniksky rural settlement of the Bredinsky municipal district and a local assembly deputy with his son. As clarified by the department, on the evening of February 23, the suspects, in a state of alcohol intoxication, went to the house of a 46-year-old local resident with whom they had a previous conflict. The perpetrators kidnapped and then killed her. According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region, before the abduction, the woman managed to call the police. The arriving law enforcement officers only found traces of car wheels in the snow. Later, the victim's body was found in a ravine near the Kizilskoye - Bredy - Mariinsky highway. All three perpetrators have been arrested and remanded in custody until April 24, 2025.
