The temple was closed to believers for almost 100 years.
In one of the oldest churches of Tyumen, the Savior Church, regular services began. Today, on the first day of Great Lent, the penitential canon of St. Andrew of Crete was read, in whose honor one of the limits was consecrated. The temple was closed to believers for almost 100 years. Since 2019, restoration work has been underway here. The church restored by the Government of the region was transferred to the parish community. And in August 2024, the Metropolitan of Tobolsk and Tyumen made the first prayer service on the day of the patronal holiday. The interior is still being furnished. A temporary iconostasis is planned for mid-March.
