In February 2024, the parents of the teenager decided to marry her to a 24-year-old representative of an ethnic group. The girl refused, for which she was severely beaten. Then she was brought to the house of a potential husband, restricted in movement, communication with relatives and acquaintances, training and use of means of communication. Procedural inspection was organized. "Bastrykin instructed the acting head of the CC of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region Konstantin Vladimirovich Miroshnichenko to initiate a criminal case and submit a report on the progress and results of his investigation," the TFR said. It is a matter of control in the central office of the department.
