From constant dampness in some places rotten floor, you have to walk like a maze. But the main problem is that the house no longer has sewers. “We used to have a pit in the garden, since you saw the water level, we have everything full now. Use the bathroom, the bathroom? I use the bathtub if it's a basin. I turn on the washing machine, drain the water into buckets and then take it out, says Elena Kandaurova, a resident of Volgograd. To get to the store, you need to bypass a large swamp. "And we're all drowning here. No ambulance, nothing. This is how people ride here, says Tatiana Semenova, a resident of Volgograd. In July 2024, the prosecutor’s office again checked the appeals of residents. It is established that the drainage system near the houses is inoperable, this leads to flooding. The facts of violations of town-planning legislation revealed by the district prosecutor’s office are included in the consolidated submission to the head of Volgograd dated 19.08.2024. According to the results of consideration of the submission in order to eliminate the negative impact of groundwater of the Kuporosny stream on the construction and installation works on the construction of a highway along Rodnikova Street and adjacent territories, changes were made to the project of land surveying in terms of design decisions on the removal of groundwater, the prosecutor's office of the Soviet district of Volgograd said.
