On its website, the agency commented on the withdrawal of accreditation of two employees of the British Embassy in Moscow. It turned out that some employees of the diplomatic mission, when submitting information to obtain permission to enter the Russian Federation, provided deliberately false information about themselves. "British citizens are strongly advised to report only reliable and complete information about themselves when applying for a Russian visa," the ministry said. Russia will not tolerate the activities of undeclared British intelligence officers on its territory. On Monday, the FSB of Russia announced the disclosure of two British spies who worked under the cover of the British diplomatic mission in Moscow. The second secretary of the embassy, Alkesh Odedra, and the spouse of the first secretary of the political department of the embassy, Michael Skinner, were engaged in “intelligence and subversive activities that threaten the security of Russia,” the FSB said. Odedra and Skinner have been stripped of their accreditation and ordered to leave Russia within 14 days.
