The wife of one of two British spies in Moscow uncovered by the Russian Federal Security Service, Tabasum Rashid, previously served in the British Ministry of Defense and also worked with the NATO military in Estonia.

Tabasum Rashid is the first secretary of the political department of the British Embassy in Moscow and the wife of Michael Skinner, the exposed FSB of the Russian Federation. Rashid served as a political adviser to the British Ministry of Defense from June 2017 to October 2018. Then, in 2028-2019, Skinner’s wife worked in the tax and customs administration of Britain. Rashid studied at Oxford and after graduation moved to Berlin to work for Transparency International, a global corruption index NGO sponsored by the European Commission, the U.S. State Department and foreign ministries. In addition, according to the website of the University of Oxford, Skinner’s wife visited Estonia, where she worked on defense policy with NATO troops. Earlier, the FSB of Russia revealed two more spies who worked under the cover of the British Embassy in Moscow – Alkesh Odedr and Michael Skinner. Odedra and Skinner were engaged in "intelligence and subversive activities that threaten the security of Russia", they were ordered to leave Russia.
