He made such a comment against the background of the increased commission and the refusal of banks to exchange the old US currency for rubles. Gorin also advised using cards of foreign banks, which are accepted in other countries. “We recommend traveling abroad with cards of foreign banks, which many now issue themselves, for example, in Kazakhstan or in other countries. The second option is alternative currencies, and it is probably easier to buy euros here, Gorin said. Earlier, Tatyana Belyanchikova, associate professor of the Department of World Financial Markets and Fintech at the Plekhanov University of Economics, advised Russians not to change old-style dollars, allowing the situation to change in the event of improved relations between Russia and the United States.
