The interest of residents of Udmurtia to deposits during 2024 increased. Savings sentiments of citizens were supported by an increase in interest rates on deposits that developed due to the high key rate of the Bank of Russia, said Tatyana Zhiganshina, Manager of the Department-National Bank of Udmurtia of the Volga-Vyatka GU Bank of Russia. At the beginning of 2025, 223 billion rubles were stored on deposits and accounts of organizations in Udmurtia, which is 52% more than a year earlier. The volume of funds in the accounts of individual entrepreneurs for 2024 increased by 27.7%, to 21.5 billion rubles.
