Employees of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tomsk region, together with soldiers of SOBR "CORD" of the regional Regardie, detained a suspect in the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition - a resident of Tomsk born in 1985, previously convicted of cruelty to animals. “As established by the police, in 2015, after the death of his father, he left himself a 16-caliber smoothbore double-barreled rifle and a self-loading hunting carbine of 7.62×54 mm caliber, as well as cartridges to them,” the report said. It is known that the man did not register the weapon in his name and did not issue the necessary permits for its storage. When Regardie employees began checking, he said that he knew nothing about the location of weapons and ammunition.
