Vladikavkaz hosts the hockey tournament of the championship of the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts. On the ice of the Tagban arena there are exciting matches among young men under 12 years old. Our team Alan Leopards confidently won four victories in five matches. Six strongest teams from Vladikavkaz, Sochi, Volgograd, Simferopol and Rostov-on-Don are fighting for the victory. The championship is held with the support of the Russian Hockey Federation and the Sports School of Winter Sports of the republic. The first puck at the very beginning of the period is in the gates of the guests. "Alan leopards" confidently lead in the score, the heat of emotions, it seemed, could melt the ice of the arena "Tagban". The team of the Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 6 from Rostov-on-Don lost to the hosts of the site with a score of 10:6. I mean, the game was more or less good. Our team showed itself confidently on the ice, having won four victories in five matches of the championship of the Southern Federal District. According to coach Yuri Chernykh, the guys study the tactics of the opponent’s game and take into account their mistakes in previous matches. Yuri Chernykh, head coach of Alan Leopards: We usually train 6 times a week. Ice, hall, we have everything. Video theory is constantly dealing with guys. Last year we played poorly, we finished fifth out of five in the fourth round, and this year we will try to fight for the highest awards. It is not interesting to play for second place or third place. In the championship there are children under the age of 12 years. The strongest teams from Vladikavkaz, Sochi, Volgograd, Simferopol and Rostov-on-Don compete for victory in competitions. Ice arena "Tagban" arranges tournaments not for the first time, and, according to Director Alexei Boyarkin, plans to hold the final of the championship here. In his opinion, first of all, the atmosphere that prevails at the competitions is important. This promotes the republic, because, firstly, these are Alan leopards, and secondly, we are already taking the second stage. I think the most important thing is, of course, the parents and fans who came and supported our guys. According to the participants and organizers, such events are a significant step in the development of children’s hockey in the country. The next stage is the final, in which young hockey players will be able to compete to enter the All-Russian tournament "Vladislav Tretyak Cup". The championship is held with the support of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and the Winter Sports School of the republic.
