As a child, she liked similar ones, then they were Soviet dolls from the famous Moscow factory. “I knew I would never get a doll like that, but I used to admire them in the store. And this is from childhood. When I felt that I could repeat myself, I decided to pursue my dream. I bought an old doll, disassembled it into spare parts to see how it was made, says Lyubov Belyaeva, a master of applied creativity. In Russia, the doll was a traditional attribute of the tea ceremony. It is often called “Baba on the kettle”. This is a kind of cap for a samovar, thanks to which the drink remained hot for a long time. Heat does not pass the skirt, it is a warmer. Then the needlewomen make the doll’s face, draw an emotion, create a hairstyle, sew an outfit. The process is always special. “When a craftsman makes a product, she puts her whole soul into it. Birth is happening. This thing, she was born. And the doll, she chooses her outfit, chooses her name, she's alive. Children feel this, they love these toys more than store ones, says Lyubov Belyaeva. By the way, the image of the master herself is handmade. Because of the bright accessories, it was called “Winter Roughland”. From school, Lyubov Anatolyevna dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, but fate decreed otherwise. For a long time she worked as a glass blower at one of the largest enterprises in the region. After retirement, I decided to make my childhood dream come true. Dresses in the Russian-folk style with pleasure try on granddaughter Sofia. The girl, despite her young age, is already involved in needlework and diligently helps her grandmother. “Here she made me a parsley, and it will be my favorite doll, because it is handmade.” I really liked it, says the granddaughter of the master Sofia Bolgarova. Sophia is seven years old, this year she finishes first grade. Learning and learning the world helps the flipping doll. She's got all the challenges. Lyubov Anatolyevna knows how to work in other techniques: for example, patchwork sewing. She transmits her experience through master classes in social networks. The audience is not small – almost 13 thousand. According to the master, interest in Russian folk art is growing. To be Russian sounds proud. That’s why I want to attract everyone to this. Now it seems to me different, people have reformatted, are beginning to renew themselves, explains Lyubov Belyaeva, a master of applied creativity.
