This is the end of the maslin week. This is one of the brightest holidays celebrated in our country, and North Ossetia is no exception. For seven days, it is customary to visit, arrange folklore evenings with songs and chapushki, as well as treat each other with pancakes. Activists of the national-cultural society "Rus" in Mozdok visited the wards of the Center for Assistance to Family Education "Amond". The guests prepared a lot of surprises, including an entertainment program. The main characters of the holiday - Zabava, Maslenitsa and Spring held contests and quizzes for children with riddles, tasks and various games. Pupils of the Center performed for the guests of the party. Today, on the last day of carnival – Forgiveness Sunday – it is customary to let go of offenses. And tomorrow begins the Great Lent – the strictest and longest of the fasts of the Orthodox Church. Lyubov Tokareva, head of the NGO "Rus": "Maslenitsa is a kind, bakery, abundant holiday. We pay attention to our relatives, we share treats. And, of course, we also came with pancakes, pies, cakes to treat the children. Daria, a pupil of the Center for the Promotion of Family Education "Amond": We learned a lot of new things, as it was called every day of the Maslenka week, what they did, as it was noted. The holiday really turned out very bright and very cheerful, liked both adults and children.
