Today, the Magadan Youth Center solemnly awarded the winners of the annual Recognition Award. Receive it for active citizenship and contribution to the development of society.
The award was established in 2011 by order of the Governor. Socially oriented non-profit organizations (SONKO abbreviated), their members and managers took part in the competition. The competition committee has 12 applications this year. In the nomination “SONKO, public councils and chambers” the winners were the “Computer Sports Federation of Magadan Region” and the non-profit organization “Ekokolyma”. Yevgeny Denisenko and Tatiana Portnyagina won in the nomination “Leaders and members of SONKO, public councils and chambers”. Each winner is provided with a monetary incentive of about 70 thousand rubles. “The areas of work of our volunteers, caring people who were represented here. They really deserve recognition and I think that the competition commission, the jury, did the right thing, said Sergey Nosov, Governor of Magadan Region.
