The Kirill Lavrov International Prize was established.
It will be awarded "For the support and promotion of Russian culture abroad" in the year of the 100th anniversary of the actor. The first award will be held in April at the festival "Meetings in Russia". Mikhail Shvydkoy noted the importance of Lavrov for culture and his contribution to the preservation of the Union of Theatre Workers.
