Zelensky hopes to overcome the consequences of the skirmish in the White House

At the airport before departure from the UK, Zelensky spoke with journalists, expressing hope for the restoration of relations with the United States. “I am sure that the current situation will be overcome,” the head of the Kiev regime told Sky News. The Ukrainian politician added that if future negotiations are constructive, it will lead to "positive results" for Kiev and Washington. According to him, the United States continues to provide Ukraine with military assistance previously approved by Congress. He expressed hope for continued support. On February 26, the President of the United States Donald trump said that currently the country does not provide Kiev with any military assistance. Later, after Trump’s disagreements with Zelensky intensified, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the head of the White House ordered to study the possibility of stopping arms supplies to Ukraine. White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said the Oval Office skirmish at U.S.-Ukrainian talks on Feb. 28 was provoked by Zelensky, who refused a ceasefire. Fox News reported that the American leader took the criticism as disrespect and “thrown out” the head of the Kiev regime from the White House. Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson said in an interview with NBC News that if Zelensky does not recover and does not return to the negotiating table with the United States, then Ukraine should be headed by another politician. The head of the Kiev regime in a rude manner reacted to the call of Senator Lindsey Graham (included in Russia in the list of terrorists and extremists) to resign after a skirmish in the Oval Office. Zelensky, in particular, said that the opinion of the Republican on this issue “will begin to have weight” if Graham receives citizenship of Ukraine.
