The materials of the criminal case were declassified by the republican FSB, reports TASS. It is reported that Akhramenko, living in the German-occupied territory of Belarus, voluntarily enlisted in the police garrison in 1943. In the service of the fascists, he repeatedly took part in battles against partisans, and also robbed Soviet citizens. In March 1944, Akhramenko swore allegiance to Hitler, joining the Union of Struggle Against Bolshevism, created by the Germans.
