In Novosibirsk detained 20-year-old boy suspected of extremist calls on the Internet. This was reported in the press service of the GU MIA of Russia in the region. During monitoring of the network, Novosibirsk police in one of the messengers revealed a publication with calls for violence against employees of state authorities and law enforcement agencies. The expert concluded that the slogans contained calls for violence motivated by hatred and hostility against specific social groups. The law enforcement officers identified the author of the reports as a 20-year-old resident of Novosibirsk. The defendant was detained by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB of Russia in the Novosibirsk region. On this fact, a criminal case was opened under the article "Public calls for extremist activities using the media or information and telecommunication networks, including the Internet network" of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the young man is under a subscription not to leave. Earlier, Vesti Novosibirsk wrote that a local resident got off with a suspended sentence for hitting a policeman with a leg. The incident occurred on the evening of August 3, 2024 near the store "Monetka", located at 118 Sorge Street.
