Agricultural organizations that direct their funds to pay for labor and accommodation of students-practitioners studying in agricultural educational institutions are compensated for 30% of the costs. In 2025, the size of state support in this area in the Ivanovo region increased by more than 60%. “This type of support helps to attract qualified personnel to the countryside, and the increased funding will allow more agricultural organizations to benefit from the subsidy. It will also allow students to set a decent salary for the period of practice, said Sergey Bubnov, a member of the government of the Ivanovo region and director of the regional department of agriculture and food. Currently, heads of enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the region are actively attracting students to practice in order to select highly professional specialists from the student bench. Every year, more and more graduates return to agricultural enterprises as workers after undergoing industrial practice. Subsidies for reimbursement of part of the costs associated with wages and student accommodation are provided to farmers within the framework of the federal project "Personnel in the agro-industrial complex", which is part of the national project "Technological support for food security", implemented by the decision of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin since 2025.
