The agreements were exchanged and signed and sealed by Yakov Radchenko, head of the regional Public Chamber, and Archbishop John of Magadan and Sinegorsk. Kolyma clergymen held services in places of deprivation of liberty and before signing the document. For the past thirty years, they have met regularly with those who have broken the law. The agreement will only strengthen the ongoing interaction between the chamber and the church.
