The incident occurred on the afternoon of February 25 in the city of Zavitinsk. A schoolboy was walking past a private house on Youth Street when an Alabai jumped over the fence. The child was saved by the owner of an aggressive dog, the regional prosecutor’s office said. The boy was hospitalized with a fracture of the radial bone of the right hand with displacement and a fracture of the ulnar bone. On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened on causing serious harm to health through negligence. The Prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit to recover from the owner of the animal compensation for moral damage caused to the child.
