Employees of the Central operational customs detained at the entrance to Moscow a foreign citizen who tried to smuggle into the city more than 140 kilograms of hashish. A criminal case has been opened.
As established by the investigation, the foreigner imported hashish into the territory of Russia for remuneration, acting as part of an organized group. Perovsky district court of Moscow sent the detainee to jail for a month. He may face punishment up to life imprisonment, according to the Telegram channel of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor’s Office.
