1946. Near Chelyabinsk, in complete secrecy, a large-scale construction of a pit for a nuclear reactor is underway. It's hard to cut through rock. But Frolov insists on changing the project and significant dulling. He concluded that the U.S. horizontal boiler design transmitted by intelligence was imperfect. An original vertical design is required. But no one has built such depths in the country.

📝 Summary

1942. But will the participants of the project be able to cope with their personal passions and feelings and, relying solely on cold minds, join forces to achieve a common goal – security for their homeland and nuclear balance in the post-war world?
